Summer Baritone Minutes

Hey All! It's been a while since we had a post on the website, and that had to change. Hopefully your finals all went well (we need to keep up that 3.7 gpa)! Just a reminder, we have 2 summer gigs for those of you around the cities:

If you are bored this summer you could occupy your time by practicing your music, to rent a Baritone email Skywalker (kunde025@umn.edu). Website Updated

Hey gals and guys! So I've been stranded in Minneapolis, so I finally had time to finish the All-Time Roster, as well as make a few corrections to my previous errors. A few people have expressed that the About Us section needs more explanation, if you would like to write anything for this section let me know and e-mail it to me. PS I might bug people to write these things when we are on a 3+ hour flight to Tempe :D. Also, I have a terrible memory and can't remember any quotes from the season, send me quotes too! and if you have any pictures that should be posted, feel free to do the same.

Bowl Game "Insight"

Tonight we had our annual band banquet, and like always we looked good. Our fearless leader, Diem, let us know that our Golden Gophers accepted a bid to the Insight Bowl in Tempe, AZ on December 31. The most recent travel information has us flying out late-morning on Dec. 29 and flying back Jan. 1. It sounds as though we will be preforming The Mound of Sound and Thriller as well as Pregame through expansion. We will be having 3 more practices this week to prepare before finals.

Monday, Dec. 8 - 4:00-5:30 in Bierman
Tuesday, Dec. 9 - 5:00-6:00 in Bierman
Wednesday, Dec. 10 - 4:15-6:00 in Northrop

We'll know more tomorrow afternoon, hopefully we will all be able to go. We get 7 more days together now, lets make them great!

Post Season Bowling

Thanks to our friend at the University of Oregon, our Golden Gopher football team has a greater chance at receiving a better bowl game. Our potential bowl games are the Champs Sports Bowl, the Insight Bowl, and the Motor City Bowl.

When USC wins the Pac 10 and Ohio State recieves a BCS bid, every Big Ten team moves up a spot in the bowl assignments. That means no Motor City Bowl and all of us will likely be going bowling. So barring a complete debacle by the BCS commity, pack your bags for a warm weather winter break!

New Website!!!

Welcome to the NEW Baritone website! Now we get to see what's broken and doesn't work, or what I missed and forgot. I think I have almost as much content as was up on the old site, as well as a few new features. Browse the website and let me know if something is wrong or doesn't work quite right, or at all. We should have a working forum soon, so don't bug me about that yet.

Don't complain to me about your profile not being up yet, they should be up and running by the homecoming game.

If you have any Quotes, Pictures, or Traditions to add, email me with the attached pictures or quote and tradition suggestions. If you would like to write a paragraph about any of our traditions or the about us section, feel free to write something and email it to me. If no one emails me suggestions, Dane is in charge of the content on the About Us page, Kara is in charge of the content on the Pictures page, and Cal is in charge of the content on the Quotes page.
