If you have any questions about my research or are an undergraduate interested in developing or working on a project with me, please send me an e-mail at the address listed above. My research focuses on understanding the geographic and ecological forces that influence speciation and diversification, specifically in mammals.

As a Ph.D. student, I have worked on projects involving the phylogeography of nesomyine rodents native to Madagascar and the diversification of Muroid rodents as a whole. For my dissertation I am studying the systematics and phylogeography of Thylamys (fat-tailed mouse opossums), a genus of small-bodied New World marsupials distributed in arid and high-elevation areas.

If you are interested in teaching science to elementary school students, check out Teaching SMART, a program that I am a part of here at the U of M.

Finally, a copy of the poster that I presented at the 10th International Mammalogical Conference in Mendoza, Argentina can be found here.
