Updates:

The Bondo was long ago sanded and painted, I just forgot to take a picture!

I've also added a UHF antenna for my old Motorola mobile.

And the radio fits nicely under the stereo in the dash!

Here it is: The latest rusty project for me to break. A 1994 Honda Accord, with about 10 billion miles on it, the power and performance of a 1970s lawnmower, and the habit of shedding parts at random times.
Yes, this is my first car ever. I'm probably some kind of communist for buying one that won't keep me in debt for 10 years, and that gets (slightly) better than 2 mpd (miles per dinosaur). After making fun of city folk for not knowing the bow from the stern of a boat, I'm now getting funny looks when I refer to this as a "Civic", and getting laughed at when I call the hood the trunk. Apparently, it's also illegal to install rockets behind the headlights and a smokescreen in the exhaust, although I can still paint the bat logo on the er... front... if I want.

I've already attempted (poorly) to patch the gaping holes in the body. Bondo sucks, I should have stuck with fiberglass :-P
No I'm not leaving it like that, I just need more sandpaper.

And now for the important stuff! What kind of stupid electronic accessories are going in here?

So far, just my old sailboat GPS, re-loaded with road maps instead of nautical charts, and with the antenna snaked out through some convenient holes. The CF reciever was dug up at an archeological site and takes about 5 minutes to get a lock with the antenna. Without the antenna, it remains permanently convinced that the user is located off the coast of Africa.

Here's a whole load of other cra... fine quality auto accessories... that are potentially going in there. The world's heaviest touchscreen, courtesy of my Dad's navigation spare parts, some wardriving stuff (if I can find all the right parts), and maybe a CB so I can pretend to be Burt Reynolds. Does anyone still use CBs?

Hopefully I won't reach the limits of the crummy electrical system.

More images and content to come as I continue to abuse this vehicle.
