Gabe Emerson's CSci 5107 Web Page.
This page is for my projects in the University of Minnesota's Intro to Graphics graduate course. As the semester progresses I will have a number of links to class work and other interesting material.

I'm a 2nd year graduate student at the U of M, Twin Cities campus, going for an MCS degree. I'm focusing on computer security and related fields, but am very interested in graphics. My main interests are in 3D design and digital mapping for real-life environment simulations and modeling.
I'm originally from a small town in Alaska, and got my BS in computer Science from the University of Alaska in Fairbanks. I dabble in piracy, commercial fishing, dumpster diving, and other socially unacceptable activities. For more info and photos you can check out some of the links at the top, which lead to my homepage.

Project 1:

A simple line-drawing program intended to teach anti-aliasing. My anti-aliasing looks pretty bad.

Project 2:

Transformation rendering, essentially a re-implementation of OpenGL functions.

Project 3

Curve and object rendering. Ugliest bird ever!

Project 4

Texture mapping using the bird from last time.

Project 5

Other work (outside of class):
3D mine mapping (screenshot)
