"The International Wildlife Rehabilitation Council (IWRC) is a
professional organization for wildlife rehabilitators, founded to
develop and disseminate information on the rehabilitation and care of
wild animals, with the goal of returning them to their native
environment.
IWRC has developed, and maintains, a national continuing education
program for rehabilitators, and publishes current treatment and
protocol information in the form of books, literature, and the only
reviewed professional journal in this field, the Journal of Wildlife
Rehabilitation."

"The National Wildlife Rehabilitators Association is an organization
for people concerned about wildlife. Primarily structured for active
rehabilitators, the NWRA also attracts professional wildlife personnel,
conservationists, educators, naturalists, researchers, veterinarians,
people from zoos and humane societies, and many others interested in
improving our knowledge of wild animals and in assuring the survival
of wildlife. The NWRA is incorporated solely for the support of the
science and profession of wildlife rehabilitation and its practitioners.
