Instructions for Admission

Instuctivo para socicitar la admision como membro a la asociacion mundial de sexologia

1. Societies, Institutes, Others
   Any society or sexological institute can apply for admission as a member of the World Association for Sexology. A sexological society is that which works and whose main interest is in the area of sexology: research, education or therapy. The application to become a member must be sent to the Secretary General/Treasurer. The application should have the following material.

   1. A copy of the resolution approved by the society or institution that is soliciting admission.

   2. A complete list of the names and addresses of the members of the soliciting society or institution.

   3. A check from a USA bank payable to the World Association for Sexology, for corresponding fee according to the number of members the soliciting society or institution has, as established below. (No personal checks or foreign currency checks other than US dollars will be accepted. Travelers checks are often easiest to acquire and safely sent if a USA bank check is not available.)
      
      

   According to that established in the Statutes of the World Association for Sexology, the structure of the fees to be paid, as well as the number of delegates each society or institute has, will be based on the number of members the society or institution in question has, according to the following table:

   The payment must be made as one annual fee and in the month of February.

2. Individual Members

   An individual can solicit his admission as an Individual Member of the World Association of Sexology. Such application for admission must be addressed to the Secretary General/Treasurer who will forward the application to the Executive Committee for the final decision.
   
   The Application Form should be completed and sent to the Secretary General/Treasurer with a check payable to the World Association for Sexology, for the sum corresponding to the annual fee. In the case of individual members it is $50.00. (No personal checks or foreign currency other than US dollars will be accepted. Travelers checks are often easiest to acquire and safely sent if a USA bank check is not available.) The payment must be made as an annual fee and in the month of February.
   
   

3. All applications should be accompanied by two letters of recommendation, issued by individuals or organizations recognized by the World Association for Sexology.
