Sharing Scientific Information
The HBIGDA sponsors biennial conferences attracting hundreds of professionals from around the world.
The next conference is planned for Galveston, Texas, in 2001.
The HBIGDA has established internationally accepted Standards of Care for the treatment of gender identity disorders. These standards are updated and revised as new scientific information is available. The current standards are undergoing a major revision and available here.
Publications
The HBIGDA publishes a newsletter keeping its members up-to-date with the organization's activities.
