Community Child Care Center does its enrollment on a semester basis. Meaning three times (January, May, and September) a year families request a specific enrollment option and sign a contract for a period of time. This allows student families to change enrollment options as their class or work schedules may alter. Our semesters follow closing with the University of Minnesota calendar. Families that live in Commonwealth Terrace Cooperative have top priority on our waiting list. Families that are affiliated with the University have next priority on our waiting list; however we do enroll other families as well. The best time to enroll a child is in September, as that is typically when we have the most transition within our program.
When filling out the application please ensure all areas are complete. If your contact information changes at any time while you are on the waiting list please let us know as soon as possible so we have means of getting a hold of you when a position becomes available. When determining which enrollment option you would like please keep in mind that you will be signing a contract for an entire semester. Please feel free to mark as many options that you would be interested in us contacting you about. Often times families may start at the center with not their first choice in enrollment; however, once you are enrolled you have top priority when enrollment is done the following semester.
