Enrique Capecchi
Hi
My name is Enrique Capecchi, I live in Venezuela, I was surfing the net two
years ago and found out that there were many Capecchi in Minnesota, I called
one, (maybe you)and he treated me really nice and was very polite as well,
he was kind to let me know that his Grand Father came from Florence, Italy
and was an sculptor.
My Grand Father's name was Francois, he came from Corsica, France when he
was 17, two uncles where with him, he moved to the eastern part of Venezuela
and started to work in an American Oil Company (Esso) he married my Grand
Mother, her name was Agueda Bianchi, she was born in Venezuela but her Dad
was from Corsica. They had five children, Oswaldo, Graciosa, Enrique (my
Dad), Gisela, and Francisco.
Oswaldo had two children Oswaldo jr. and Belinda both in their late 40's
now. Graciosa did not have children but she is so children loving that she
adopted a girl from the Andes and now lives in Florida, (I visited them 3

moths ago and they are fine), My Dad had 5 children, Enrique (me) Maria
Auxiliadora, Mercedes Elena (Tolena), Diego, and Luis Eduardo (Luigi)
My aunt Gisela never married and died 3 years ago and my uncle Frank had 3
children, Diana Elena, Francois, and Fernando.
My uncle Oswaldo went to Corsica last year and met all our relatives, they
were great with him and he was lucky enough to get some picture of my Grand
Father when he was a child. We are filling up genealogical tree for them so
they can complete a main one. they were so nice in Corsica that when my
uncle talks about them his eyes water.
My Dad is 70 years old and in good health, he was a top athlete in his
youth, he went to the States in 1959 for the Panamerican Games and won the
two games he pitched there. Venezuela won the Gold Medal in Baseball that
year. Still the only one in Baseball in Panamerican Games.
Me? I am 40 years old and I married a girl whose parents are from Spain, I
have 2 1/2 years old twin girls that I named Michelle and Nicole.
I visited your web page today, it is very nice.
I will let you know more of my family if you want. I don't want to make it
too long so you don't get bored.
I do think that we are related in a way because Corsica was an Italy
Province until they lost it to France during war, but I read that people
there want to go back to being an Italian Island.
Please forgive my English
Regards
Enrique Capecchi
