Chenrezig (Avalokitesvara) Mantra: Tibetan Mantra to Develop Compassion

Chenrezig (Avalokitesvara): Bodhisattva of Compassion. His Holiness the Dalai Lama is said to be the incarnation of Chenrezig.

Translation: The jewel in the center of the lotus.

Explanation: Chanting this mantra opens the jewel of compassion in the lotus of the heart chakra. Regular, systematic chanting of this mantra promotes physical, mental, and spiritual health. Chanting this mantra for a person who is dying helps the person to die peacefully.
