The African girl with the yellow hair
Decided to do what she never would dare
He asked her to stray from her single life
And by Faith she becomes today his wife
The Wisconsin boy that liked this girl
Wanted to find his way to her world
But she did not know him—and he had to be known
So with unseen Hope he became her own
So there they were, in foreign lands
Faithfully hoping (and holding hands)
Asking for Love from The One who would know
And loving and living and learning to grow
They asked to be sure as they tried to Love
And they learned of faith and hope from above
And thus it became to these two explained
And they started to see that these three remained:
Faith, Hope, and Love.
But the greatest of these is Love.
