01-27-06      update

Well, I have decided to write a journal entry after neglecting it for over a year. That is a substantial gap in any journal, I suppose. I am almost finished with my formal education and teacher certification, and by the end of the year I will very likely have a job in the so called 'real world' that everyone keeps talking about. I have a son now. Titus Will Nathanael Burchell is three and a half months old now, and is the cutest, smartest, and strongest little baby there ever was. Joie and I are enjoying him a lot.

I have decided to leave my journal up for the present, because I do like some of what I have written in days past, and it feels a bit fraudulant to leave some stuff and delete the bits and pieces that make me feel ashamed. It is a bit more realistic to let the journal entries pile up, after all. It isn't as though I am a different person, just an older one.
