I was very pleased with this picture. This is a field east of Madison that I found whilst I was cruising. The sky in my picture showed up not quite as bright as I remembered it, so I changed it in Photoshop. I used a gaussian blur filter on the sky, it really makes it look smooth. I selected the sky with the magic wand tool, and I was continually fighting the tolerance settings. This accounts for the the dark glow by the horizon... I'm not really sure if I like that or not. Often my pictures make the sky look grainy and rough, and the number of colors is reduced. I think this reinstates something often lost.
