Welcome to the Borer Ecology Lab
Nitrogen deposition, carbon dioxide emissions, and species invasions and extinctions are occurring at continental and global scales. These complex changes can control disease risk, agricultural production, and species conservation. In my research, I examine the ways that these factors interact to control the composition and function of ecological communities. I seek general answers using diverse tools including experiments, observations, mathematical theory, and meta-analysis.
For more information on my research see the lab people or projects pages.
Welcome to my lab!
