J O I N beta alpha psi

There are three levels of membership in Beta Alpha Psi.

 At the local, pledge or national  level, members can participate in all the events of the society.

At the local level the only requirement is an active interest in accounting and finance. You must also be an active participant in our events.

As a pledge,  you must:

  • Declare or intent to declare a concentration in accounting or finance.
  • Complete at least one year of college courses (30 credits).
  • Attain a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0.
  • Remain an active participant.

At the national level, members can hold leadership positions and participate in national events.  To become a national member, there are several requirements:

  • Be enrolled in or complete an upper division accounting or finance course (ACCT 3001/FINA 4241).
  • Maintain a cumulative overall and major GPA above 3.0.
  • Hold junior standing (greater than 60 credits).
  • Commit to participate in at least 50% of BAP's professional events each semester (there are usually about 4).
  • Complete one service event.

 

Beta Alpha Psi is highly recognized

in the accunting and finance industries.
