You can note that there aren't any photos of cities in my story. I don't have any! No city can compare to nature's creation. So even if it has an interesting history behind it I usually forget to take a picture chasing a squirrel or stairng at the mountain. This happens again - I forgot to take pictures of Whittier itself, since I was glued to the view of Prince William Sound. What a beauty and it's only the beginning!
The 15,000 square miles of Prince William Sound are full of glacially-carved fjords over 1,000 feet deep and mountains that thrust out of the sea to their highest point on Mt. Marcus Baker at 13,250 feet. Prince William Sound's countless bays and islands contain over 3500 miles of coastline, more than the entire state of California!
