o MSA Food drive: last week of March-1st week of April
o Ellyn emailed People Serving People. More information to come.
• Hug Day (Ellyn) (5-10)
o “Everybody Loves Hugs”
o May 4th; Monday. 11-3, outside Coffman
o Looking to speak with affiliates to get them involved as well.
o Board says: Asian American Awareness Month, hugs from “affiliate/ASU name”
• Possible Sigma Lambda Beta collaboration (10)
o Annual Cultural Celebration(Friday 3/27, Great Hall)
o Looking for co-sponsoring, volunteers, marketing
• MAASU updates (10)
o Discussion panel, try to combine it with Spring Conference
o Canned food committee is meeting Thursday; ask affiliates if they would be willing to help us out with picking up cans from the neighborhoods
• 30th Annual ASU Spring Conference (20)
o Committee updates (Education, PR, Programming, Logistics)
 Education
• Please email ideas
• So far: Hmong culture, possibly; dumpling and sushi workshops to pair with something; talking to azuki to cater sushi;
 PR
• Waiting on people to send out stuff – figure out activities
• Send them fortune cookie ideas
 Programming
• Met with AV people
• Meeting Thursday to narrow down contracts
• Many affiliates have confirmed.
 Logistics
• Will get back to programming about stage and lighting
• Working on getting as many food quotes as possible; looking to at least have affiliates represented, then based on money, will extend to other cuisines

o JSA is having an event this Friday, from 6-8 PERMIAS is 5-6. JSA is watching Spirited Away.
