• New idea proposal (if applicable) discuss with board, weigh options and consequences  reach consensus  act on consensus

 Carry out your duties and tasks

• Treasurer updates (Paul)
o Working on fees
• Secretary updates (Nehal)

• Winter Gala
o Tickets – update spreadsheet sent out via e-mail. Give money collected so far to Paul.
 Early Bird (up until January 23, 2009)
• UMN: 10 single/15 couple – Non: 12/17

 Writing in the snow

 900 pieces total

 Door through underground tunnel will close at 9:30 PM

 Noah will be performing 2 songs for the evening

 Be there at 3 PM, should be out by 4 PM
 Be back by 7:30 PM sharp!
 We will be running the coat rack all evening
• 30th Annual ASU Spring Conference (March 30-April 4)
o Committee updates
 Committee will be sent out again
o Potential performers so far
 Singers: Jazmin (5000+expenses for 4?), IBU (2000 + expenses for 3?), Tatum Jones (1000 +expenses for 3?), Reynard Silva (300+expenses for 2), Filipino girl (15 year old girl)
 Dancers/Misc – Kenichi Ebina (1000 + expenses for 1), Liang (3000 for 60 minutes)
 Comedian/MC – KT Tatara (2250 +hotel)
 Speaker: None
 UMN student groups – pending
 Themes: “The Melting Pot” sort of thing, where all of the cultures are united. Work on thinking of more themes
• First GA meeting (Tuesday January 27, 7PM, ASU room)
o How to make it more involved and interactive
 Committee to meet after board meeting to discuss details
• Questions, comments, concerns, additions
o Think about MAASU idea
o Record tickets on line
o Think about spring conference themes
• Room Cleaning
