Afilliate Updates:
CASA: CASA pageant at 7 PM tomorrow (11/22). 12 contestants. December 19th FMSC in Eagan, 22 spaces reserved, at noon. Chinese New Year is January 24th.
KSA: No events for the rest of the semester, though they’re planning a fundraiser in Coffman. December 13th, they’re planning to have a movie night. Hoping to collaborate on having an ice skating event next semester.
CSAM: No events until next semester, which will be the CSAM new year. This Sunday, CSAM is having a Thanksgiving party at someone’s house. (Park Points Apt past Dinkytown).
EPIC: May be holding a Christmas party, keep updated with date.
VSAM: 11/22, St. Cloud is hosting their culture night (sister organization). VSAM is helping out, come support if you can. December 21st Ski and Snowboard trip (posted on ASU board). Contact Dan Tran with more questions about the trip.
JSA: Food and movie event on Dec 5th at Nolte lounge. $1 per person. Last event of the semester. Japanese movie with subtitles.
PSA: no updates today, but please attend the Smash and Poke tournament at 7:30 today. At Dinnaken, at
Feast of Nations (MISA event) was pretty successful, but there wasn’t a whole lot of specification of what exactly was going to be going on. (Disorganized, so when ASU hosts TOA, should plan better). Keep an eye out for more information about ASU hosting the Taste of Asia, we’ll want to be hosting with all the help from affiliates.
ASU now has a calendar on the wall, so if you have an event coming up, feel free to write it on the calendar, so feel free to write it up there, so that groups can try to avoid having conflicting events.
