• Taiko Drumming reflections
o ‘twas excellent, well planned
o Location could have been better
o Good to see new faces
o Notifying departments was helpful in notifying people, could do that for future events
• Vincent Who updates
o No one has seen it nor have a copy available
o Should we still proceed with the sponsorship of the film and event?
No, the person standing for the event should have at least seen it, therefore we don’t feel comfortable sponsoring it
• AnySoldier updates (AnySoldier committee)
o Nov 30, need help going around Eden Prairie picking up items. From 2-5, meet at 1:30
o Has created a flier listing the donation items, plan to give it to homes in advance, so they can put the flier on their
o Raised $100 from Oodles of Noodles
o Pasta bar will have performances, Lam DJing, Sopheak will be singing, Nikki will be singing
o People from outside the UofM are also invited.
o Nov 21st in the Mississippi Room, check website for more details
• Diversity and Equity Breakfast
o Thursday, November 20, 7:30am-830am
o Set up Wednesday afternoon
• MAASU updates (Jimmy)
o Late registration is $40 if anyone is still interested (not certain on the $40, checking into it). You may not be guaranteed a seat.
• “Professional showcase” updates (Vanessa)
o CASA PSA CSAM VSAM are all “yes”
• Winter Gala
o Saturday, January 31, 2009; 8pm-Midnight; McNamara Alumni Center

• 30th Annual ASU Spring Conference
o Week of 3/30 to 4/4
o Think of 1 committee that you want to be dedicated in
Logistics – food, food permits, grants, coordinate volunteers for serving food, coordinating volunteers in general
Programming – planning banquet, coordinating performances
Education – week of workshops
PR – marketing materials, posting events, generating event awareness, contacting press
EVERYONE – look for performers-emcee-keynote speaker, teamwork, have fun
