I. Karaoke Reflections
a. Board Attendance Expectations
i. Attendance to events is mandatory from set-up to clean-up
ii. If you need to be late or leave early, let Lulu or Nehal know
b. Estimate of attendance numbers: 150
c. Better planning for future events
i. Confusion between transitions – put up signs or posters that distinguish
ii. Sign-ups for stations
iii. Pull up projectors as a secondary screen
iv. Business cards for food servers
v. Help with set-up
d. Get reimbursements in if you haven’t yet
i. Deadline: October 12th
II. CCC Meeting on Wednesday, October 10th 3:30 PM-4:30 PM Room 303A and 303B – it would be good to have at least one or two attend: Chris, Florence, and Nehal
III. Homecoming November 3rd ~ 2 PM
a. Final Homecoming Grandstand Announcement
i. ASU in USA!!
ii. Cheap to $350
iii. Committee made a banner style: 8 ft x 3 ft
iv. Candy not to be bought till after Halloween
v. Sky blue background on banner with black font
b. T-Shirts
i. Design similar as bridge design
ii. To be used for the year
IV. Halloween Updates: October 26th, 7:30-11:00
a. Heard from Augsburg: Co-sponsor on U of M campus, all ready to go
b. Hamline and Macalaster are may-bes
c. Room Rental? Currently the only 3rd floor room open that night is President’s Room, from 7 PM onwards: Request sent for President’s Room
d. Ideas for the event:

a. Leadership retreat in November at Dennison, Ohio

d. Anisha – Contact other schools such as Macalaster and Hamline to go together as a group (a TCAR event).

a. Who should be key-note speaker or performers?
b. Two meetings from now come up with ideas – October 16th
XI. MAPS Cancer Awareness Event
a. Committee will meet soon on Thursday
b. Four aspects: visual display, brochure (demographics), activity, food or drinks to be served (cotton candy, strawberry milk)

XII. Reminder of Check-out policy
a. Want a monetary deposit on the stuff borrowed
b. Get the check back or money returned
c. Same procedure: Online AND Deposit
XIII. Office hours and Affiliates
a. ASU office hours updated and posted on the door
b. Can anyone switch to fill Tuesday’s gap?
c. Make sure you attend office hours... even if other people signed up at the same time
d. Sign in for office hours
e. If you can’t make it or are going to be late, e-mail and let everyone know
f. Affiliates: ISA and APAHC are both affiliates… is that a problem?
g. Most affiliates have signed up for office hours.. exception VSAM (only .5), PSA (only .5), CASA (Jennifer’s count??), ISA, and APAHC
h. GA attendance at 2 absences per school year, NOT semester
