I. EOC Conference - Jenny Zhang (zhan0507@umn.edu)
• At Ohio State University in Columbus, Nov. 4th
• Representatives from other Asian student organizations at other universities will be present
• Conference to discuss better relations with Asian-American communities and groups
• Asian-American Studies program
• Please bring up this event at your own student organization meeting and forward any ideas you would like to have Jenny to discuss at the conference!
II. ASU Funding for affiliate events – Rachel Yang
a. New grants process:
• No limited requests (no cap)
• Required President and VP meeting
• Pre-fees request
• Joint and collaborated events
• Replacing grants
• ASU involvement, office hours
• Incentive for involvement

III. Volunteer Update – Cathy

• Cambodian Celebration: Saturday Oct. 28th, 7-12 PM @ Shakopee
• HMSA
• Workshop: Friday Oct. 27th, 4:30-6 PM @ 125 Nicholson Hall, will be on Hmong superstition and costume contest
• Heritage Event: Saturday Nov. 18th, 5-10 PM @ North Star Ballroom, St. Paul Student Center
• APAHC

• Fall Show: Saturday Oct. 28th, 7 PM @ CMU Great Hall, food served at 6 PM, $5-6 for non-students, free for students
