Operation AnySoldier: Help a Soldier Help Us
Mission Statement: To support and raise the morale of soldiers in harms way, by sending them daily necessities and reminders of home.
What: This will be a month long project in which participating affiliates will raise money and collect items for troops in harms way. At the end of the one month period, the participants will use the money and the items to put together care packages to send overseas.
Overall Goal: To raise $1000 worth of donations and items combined. Each donated item will constitute $1.

Updates:
12/05: Packaging day was another success! Thank you to everyone who help contribute this cause for our troops overseas!! Things are slowly being sent out and will reach our soldiers during the holiday months! Thanks again and we look forward to doing something like once again for next Fall and possibly during Spring as well!!
11/25:
- ASU had quite a successful event for Pasta Night. Thank you everyone who attended and brought in donations! The next step to this mission is to have everyone come in during Friday, Dec 5th to help package the items donated and send it overseas! It'll be in ASU Room 219 starting at 7:00PM. Please come join us, and help us make paper cranes to place inside the boxes!
- CASA had a blast making dumplings during their dumpling night! They raised a total of $110 to goes towards the cause.
11/03:
- ASU is having their Oodles of Noodles Event Wednesday, Nov 5th at 11AM-2PM! It's in ASU (CMU 219) and prices will be $3- $3.50 which includes a bowl of noodles, a bag of chip and pop/juice. Donations like canned goods and other products are also encouraged!
- PSA/VSAM plan to have a future joint fundraiser to help with donations.
- VSAM also plans to have an individual fundraiser in the future.
- CSAM is accepting donations during the Potluck/Karaokee Night on Friday, Nov. 7th from 7-11PM at Roy Wilkins.
- ASU is accepting donations during their Taiko Drumming Event Friday, Nov, 7th from 5:30 to 7PM. Snacks and drinks provided.
10/27:
- CASA is having a dumpling night on Saturday, November 8th in Yudof. They are charging $1 or an item donation for entry. Donations all go towards Operation Any Soldier.
- PSA has sucessfully raised $180
Donations:
FAQ: If you're interested in donating towards Operation AnySoldier please feel free contact ASU or any of our affliates. Besides money, donations can be in forms of can goods, old board games, hygiene products (like soap, shampoo, dedorant) or anything and everything you believe that will remind our soldiers of home. There's a list of more items located on the link below, named "care package list." Our major goal for this event is to have everyone participate and come in on the last day and prepare the packages needed to be shipped overseas.
