Membership
Joining ASME is easy! Click here and follow the links to join. The cost is $25 for a one year ASME Student membership. We always welcome new people to attend our meetings, but signing up with ASME.org is the only way to officially sign up.
Upon joining you should email Kristin Haag to get signed up with us, the student section at the U of M. We'll send emails reminding you of our upcoming meetings, events, and happenings.
So why join? There are many things that make being a member of ASME beneficial. There are many job and internship opportunities available to ASME members, and it looks great on your resume for other job, internship, and co-ops. There is also a ton of money in loans and scholarships available through ASME. The social events, company presentations, and ASME conventions are also excellent ways to network and meet people.
