History

Alpha Sigma Kappa grew out of a Little Sisters of Triangle organization, dating back to 1983. In the late 1980s, Triangle Fraternities' National Council resolved to phase out their Little Sister program, hence the sorority was born. Alpha Sigma Kappa - Women in Technical Studies was founded with eighteen members on May 1st, 1989.
