Each fall, civil related companies and professional organizations are invited to sponsor a booth at the Civil Engineering Career Fair hosted by the American Society of Civil Engineers University of Minnesota Student Chapter and the University of Minnesota Department of Civil Engineering. The career fair, which is held in The Great Hall of Coffman Union on the University of Minnesota East Bank Campus, is an excellent opportunity for civil engineering firms and organizations of all disciplines to display their projects and increase student awareness about the profession. As the title indicates, the career fair will also allow firms to conveniently and effectively recruit for internships, co-op programs, and permanent positions.

In years past, the typical attendance has been 25-30 companies and 150-200 students.

To attend, donations of $350 per company are requested. This donation secures a booth, lunch for three associates, and a spot in the company guide.

Post-Career Fair Social

All students and company/organization representatives are invited to attend the post-career fair social which will be held at Sally's Saloon following the career fair. This provides a great networking opportunity for students as they have the opportunity to speak to professionals one-on-one in a different atmosphere than is allowed at the fair. Free appetizers and soda will be provided.

When: Nov. 12th, at 3:00pm with no scheduled end time
