STATUS REPORT 3

Project name : Project Eat and Donate for University Village Computer Room

Project Manager Name : Rusmawati Amat

Date : December 3 rd , 2005

Work completed this week :

________________________________________________________________________

Work to complete next week :

- Prepare the final deliverables: lesson learned report, status report, etc

________________________________________________________________________

 What’s going well and why:

Sponsor is very helpful and gave a positive alternative towards continuing the project. Kathy also gave some feedbacks to look at the project at another approach.

________________________________________________________________________

What’s not going well and why:

Meeting with the Upper Board Management led to a dead-end to the project.

The University does not allow students to sell any kind of products in campus and therefore, the scope project had to be revised.

Suggestion and Issue:

Make weekly meetings with the sponsors to ensure we meet their specific requirements

 Project Changes:

Major changes had to be made on the scope statement as the initial idea of the project cannot be preceded. The event was directed to collecting printers from the University residents instead of raising money and selling bakeries. The sponsor also requested us to find local computer companies that are willing to donate printers.

 Project Changes:

Major changes had to be made on the scope statement as the initial idea of the project cannot be proceeded. The budget was increased from $200 to $400 as requested by our sponsor. Also, since the Upper Management is not too keen on the idea of us baking the cookies ourselves, the bakeries have to be bought from any certified retailers.

Status Report 1

Project Manager Name : Rusmawati Amat

Date : October 3, 2005

Work completed this week :

Work to complete next week :

________________________________________________________________________

 What’s going well and why:
The project site construction started well. Even though all of the team members have minimal skill on developing website, we manage to get outside’s help.

________________________________________________________________________

What’s not going well and why:
We are yet to decide which method will be used for distributing foods. Need more input from the sponsor.

________________________________________________________________________

Suggestion and Issue:
Hold a meeting to decide on the methods for fundraising; whether foods distribution is on door-to-door basis or a stall set up in the lobby area.

________________________________________________________________________

Project Changes:
I think that the project is feasible given the time and the money. We figured out that the computer room has already equipped with printer and scanner. Thus, we think that the money should go in accommodating the room.
