This plant was registered and introduced to the trade by the late Robert Savory of Edina, MN. It is one of many introductions by Bob. All his plants are hardy and vigorous growers. I was fortunate enough to have leaves of this plant placed on the Court of Honor at the annual flower and vegetable show put on by the Men's Garden Club of Minneapolis. (Yes, hosta leaves are often entered in garden competitions. Cut leaf shows sponsored by various hosta societies have been know to become quite cut throat.) The nice, even white border contrasts beatifully with the puckery dark green center of the leaf.
