Next Meeting

The next committee meeting will be held Tuesday, October 17, 2006 from 10:30-12:00 PM in 351 Appleby Hall.

About the Committee

The Adult Learners and Student Parents Advisory Committee reports to the Office of Student Affairs and includes faculty, staff, and student members from across the Twin Cities Campuses. The committee was formed to assess the needs of student parents and non-traditional aged undergraduate students (25 years of age and older), as well as the University climate for these two student populations. Based on its findings, the Committee will share recommendations for enhancing the University’s capacity for serving these students. On such report about Committee Recommendations for Strategic Positioning was authored by Don Opitz in April of 2005.

The committee acknowledges financial support from a grant provided by the Office for University Women
