Philanthropy and Alpha Gamma Delta
"To welcome the opportunity of contributing to the world's work in the community where I am placed because of the joy of service thereby bestowed and the talent of leadership multiplied" — Line from the Alpha Gamma Delta Purpose.
Our chapter raises funds for the Alpha Gamma Delta Foundation, which supports the American Diabetes Association and related aspects of Diabetes research and treatment support.
We also support the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, which holds a bi-annual diabetes walk in the Mall of America.
Alpha Gams also organize and participate in campus wide initiatives related to fundraising, community building, service and raising awareness.
