Wanda has been exposed to art from her beginnings. She and Roy's family have always felt the challenge of imitating, creating in their own medium and finding art as a unique way to express themselves. Son Ron is a potter, paints in acrylic and oils and sees things in odd lines. Daughter Pamela does corn husk art, a pianist and quilter. Daughter Paulette makes all kinds of baskets from natural materials, weaves, has done some glass blowing and quilts. Nick builds homes and Tom
addresses his life in other ways than art.

Some of the grandchildren have also taken up the arts. Natosha is a fantastic glass artist. She lived at a school in Thailand where she taught English for two years. Jasmine is doing commercial art for a magazine, and does all sorts of funky things. Jamara is a photographer and has a fellowship this summer with a New York City studio.
