AIAS Freedom by Design enables architecture students to get hands-on experience while making meaningful changes to the lives of people in our community. Volunteers design and build modest solutions that make a difference to people in the Twin Cities who are disabled or financially limited. Most of our work tends to deal with accessibility and safety issues.
We find clients, do design charrettes, and build solutions to people’s pressing needs. We improve people’s safety, dignity, and comfort.
