Exploring Intelligence has been present on the web in one form or another since 2001. I had mostly used it as a reference to organize bookmarks, papers, articles, links etc. Over time the site evolved into Exploring the Mind, Brain and Intelligence which was an attempt to organize papers and books related to Artificial Intelligence, Philosophy of Mind and Cognitive Science. I am please to announce that eXploring Intelligence is now back as a resource for everyone. As stated before, the site grew out of my own need to organize papers and interests. Consequently a blend of papers and books which one might not expect to be in the same place like Data Mining and Philosophy. This site is now a resource for Artificial Intelligence, Philosophy of Mind, Cognitive Science and many other mind-brain related fields.

The scope of this site lies at the intersection of Robotics, Embodiment, Perception, Action, Representation, Language, Thought, and the "Extended Mind." Although embodiment has strong influences from the Continental tradition in philosophy the idea here is that an Analytical approach to Embodidment can be greatly fruitful in understanding intelligence from both a philosophical and a scientific point of view.

This is a humorous take on the periodic table. The symbols which are used for the ''real'' periodic table are retained for this periodic table but with humorous twist from the annals of philosophy.

This is mirror for the dynamic version of the Philosophy Family Tree created by
Josh Dever of University of Texas at Austin. I developed the dynamic version in order to facilitate easy navigation, search and retrieval of the Family Tree. While searching for a particular philosopher be sure to search for the full name of the respective philosopher. More information on the
Philosohy Family Tree can be obtained from Dave's website at
The Philosophy Family Tree.

This is one of my side projects where the goal is to visually represent works of literature and find a way to compare and contast these works visually. The ultimate goal would be to generate digital ''visual signatures'' of individual authors and use the ''signatures'' to visually identify the authors.
