Muhammad Aurangzeb Ahmad is graduate student (2006 - present) pursuing doctorate in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Minnesota. His Research advisor is Professor Jaideep Srivasatva. He is also a Research Assistant at the Minnesota Population Center. He completed Bachelors of Science degree with honors in Computer Science from the Rochester Institute of Technology in 2006. His main field of research is in Data Mining and Social Network Analysis. Additionally he is also interested in problems in Cognitive Science especially Embodied Cognition and Philosophy of Information.
