Medicine in the News is an fun new feautre of our meetings designed to keep busy members up-to-date on health-related current events. If you would like to participate, simply find any health-related article - it can be about a new treatment, a recent study, anything you find interesting - and type up a brief summary of the article. Submit both the article and your summary to aed@umn.edu. For an extra point, you can also present your article in front of our fellow AED members. If you are interested in presenting, just let us know in the email and we will notify you of an open meeting that you can present at. You can receive 2 points for each article and summary that you submit (3 if you present) with a maximum of 2 times a semester. If you want some guidance, check out this sample Medicine in the News.
