I Received your letter of Sept 28 it was nice of you to write to me. I have received over one hundred letters senice my letter was printed in Frontier Times. it is not possiable for me to answer all of them personaly. But seince you have ask some direct Questions I will try and answer them.
(2) my Husband Jesse Edward James was born In Nashville Tenn on Aug 31 1875, He was Called Tim by his Family and Relatives No the younger boys were not Cousins of the James. they were Southern people as were the James. my Husband was 76 years old when he passed away on march 24 1951 He is buried in Beautiful Forest Lawn memorial park in Los Angles we were married in 1900 Jesse was 24 and I was 18 at that time. we have Four Daughters all home in Los Angles, we have Four grand Children and Two great grand Children. I have all of my husband Fathers Relics Three guns Spurs Bridle and many other things that was Jesse James, I am writing a book on my association with the Jesse James Family.

by way of explanation, my husband was not Jesse James Jr. In the proper meaning His Father name was Jesse Woodson James And His was Jesse Edward James. He was named for major John N Edwards who was a great Friend and defender of the James Boys my husband wrote a Book About his Father when he was Just 23 years old Under the name of Jesse James Jr and he was Called Jesse Jr by the press and writers of Jesse James Books.
The Title of the Book I speak of was Jesse James my Father by Jesse James Jr it was written in 1898 was out of print. For more then 35 years Until A pubbisher of New york got a Copyrite and brought out a repint a few years ago we did not know of the reprint of Jesse book until it was on the market.
