The University of Minnesota Tae Kwon Do Club meets during Fall and Spring sessions, Monday, Wednesday, Friday, from 4:00-5:30 PM in Cooke Hall 325. This is the gym connected to the Recreation Center through the skyway on the third floor. To get to Cooke 325, enter through the Recreation Center on the first floor, then go up to the third floor and take the skyway over to Cooke Hall.

Our activities during practice include self-defense, forms, kicking drills, sparring, meditation, study of the philosophy behind Taekwondo, and others. Feel free to stop in during one of our practices and get a feel for what we do. We offer three free practices for you to decide if you would like become a member. If you should decide to join we ask $65 per semester. Just show up in normal workout clothes, and if you decide later a uniform may be purchased.

Tae Kwon Do is a great way to meet new people, get excerise, and gain focus and discipline which may be applied to many aspects of life. We have excellent instructors, all of whom practice at the Minnesota Tae Kwon Do Center.
