2004-2005 School Year

Kerry Day: This year September 23 was named Kerry day, and UDFLers were out handed out buttons, bumper stickers, and talking to students about the election. 

BBQ: At the beginning of the year the UDFL held a BBQ at Riverbend Flats and played frisbee to raise awareness for the organization. At least until it started raining...

2003-2004 School Year

CDM Fall Convention:  In October, a group of UDFLers traveled to St. Johns to take part in a conference with other College Democrats from across the week.  We all learned a lot from the speakers and other schools which we were able to bring back to the University.

Jefferson Jackson Dinner:  A group of UDFLers traveled down to Des Moines for the Jefferson Jackson Dinner in November 2003.  At this event, six of the Democratic presidential candidates were on hand speaking along with emcee Senator Clinton.

Debate:  In October the UDFL along with MYDFL planned a debate watching party in Coffman.  Afterwards, representatives from some of the candidates were on hand for another debate.

Rock the Cauc:  In an effort to raise awareness for the caucus, the UDFL put on a concert.  At the concert, people could learn about their caucus location and learn about the different candidates.
