Practice
Schedule
Most of players come to practice during following times:
  • Sunday: 1-5pm
  • Tuesday, Thursday and Friday: 5-8pm

    Shuttlecocks and Rackets
    We play with both plastic shuttlecock (normally MAVIS 350 slow or middle) and feather shuttlecocks. UBC does not provide shuttles or rackets. Rackets can be rented from the Equipment Room at the Recreation Center.

    Entrance fee

  • $8/guest/time, and if you are not affiliated with the U of M, you will also need a student or faculty/staff to sign you in.
  • Semester-based and annual memberships can be bought at Cashier's office with proper IDs and/or certificates for students/staff and their spouses. More information is available at http://www.recsports.umn.edu/Membership/index.htm

    Driving directions (to Washington Ave Ramp)
    Going South on 35W:
    1. Take Exit 18: 4th St/University Ave
    2. Turn left onto University Ave
    3. Turn right onto Pillsbury Drive SE
    4. Pillsbury Drive SE becomes Union Street SE
    5. Turn left to enter the Washington Ave ramp

    Going North on 35W:
    1. Take exit 17C: 3rd Street/U of M
    2. Stay in the far right lane and follow signs to EAST BANK
    3. Go over the Washington Ave Bridge
    4. Go three blocks to Harvard St.
    5. Turn left onto Harvard St. Stay in the far left lane.
    6. Turn left onto Union Street SE
    7. Turn left to enter the Washington Ave ramp

    Going East or West on I-94:
    1. Take Huron Boulevard Exit
    2. Follow Huron Boulevard two blocks
    3. Turn left onto Washington Ave
    8. Turn right onto Harvard St. Stay in the far left lane.
