1. From what part of the male reproductive tract do the three fractions of the canine ejaculate arise?

Case Study: You take your 3 year old intact male Westie to the veterinarian because several bitch owners are interested in using him at stud. He is collected without a teaser bitch.

- Volume = 1.5 ml

- Color = cloudy

- Percentage progressively motile spermatozoa = 50%

- Total number of spermatozoa = 295 million

- Percentage morphologically normal spermatozoa = 53%

What is your interpretation of these findings. Explain any abnormalities.
