Reed KM, Chaves LD, and Mendoza KM. 2007. An integrated and comparative genetic map of the turkey genome. Cytogenet Genome Res, 119:113-126.

Map Legend: Alignment of the UMN integrated linkage map of the turkey genome (right, units = cM) with a physical map (left) derived from chicken (units = Mbp). The physical map is based on positions (determined by BLASTN) of genetic markers from the integrated map located on the chicken whole-genome sequence (WASHUC2). Colored loci in the physical map either did not have significant BLASTN hits to the first (WASHUC1) chicken genome build (red) or have different chromosome assignments in the second build (purple). For the linkage map, loci included in the Nte (Harry et al., 2003) and Roslin maps (Burt et al., 2003) are colored blue and orange, respectively. Loci indicated in green were not assigned in previous maps. Chromosomes and linkage groups included in the two boxes did not have matching counterparts.
