The
First Unitarian Universalist Church of the Interent
is a new experiment in Internet Ministry.
If
you are looking for
additional ways to extend your ministry,
perhaps your talents will match with the
needs of the FUUCI.
Can you create cyber-sermons and engage
in e-mail dialog?

CYBER-SERMONS
NEEDED
_______________________________________________________
The
primary manifestation
of the FUUCI is the cyber-sermon.
This is a very short version of a content-rich
UU sermon.
Cyber-sermons are only three pages long,
which makes them more screen-friendly
—easier to read on a computer screen.
Once
we begin operating,
each month the subscribers of our e-mail
list
will vote for their favorite proposals.
The proposal that gets the most votes
will become the next Cyber-Sermon-of-the-Month.
Here is more information about the Cyber-Sermon-of-the-Month:

If
you would like a
bit more encouragement
to create shorter versions of your very
best sermons, here are
"Ten Reasons to Create Cyber-Sermons for
the FUUCI".
This Open Letter to UU Ministers actually
describes 11 benefits:

home page of the FUUCI
includes four additional files

E-MAIL
DIALOG WITH READERS WORLD WIDE
_________________________________________________
Even
tho cyber-sermons
will be the main manifestation of the FUUCI,
some dialog is likely to arise from these
electronic presentations.
All such communication is completely voluntary
from both sides.
If
you decide to become
a volunteer staff member for the FUUCI,
you should indicate the limits
of your openness to e-mail dialog.
And if it becomes too burdensome,
you can change your decision at any time.
Here
is a file that
explains a bit more
about the role of a volunteer professional
for the FUUCI:
