is neighborhood-based open learning organization.
Our neighborhood is Stevens Square-Loring Heights
just south of downtown Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA.
The main means of publicity for the FUSS classes
is the SSCO Herald, the neighborhood newsletter
of the Stevens Square Community Organization.
The secondary means of publicizing the classes
is this home page.
Three meanings of "free" in "free university":
All classes are free of charge.
They are offered by volunteers from our neighborhood.
Anyone is free to offer a class.
No gatekeepers approve or disapprove classes.
Anyone is free to attend.
No registration---just show up at the time and place listed.
This link will lead you to over 100 suggested classes.
These give you an idea of what kinds of gatherings might happen.
YOU might create something in one of these areas.
The WHERE section lists possible locations for FUSS classes.

Even tho these classes for Fall 2003 are now past,
you might still be interested in seeing the variety of things offered.
WINTER CLASSES No classes were scheduled for Winter 2004
because there was no Winter issue of the SSCO Herald.
Spring classes begin anytime during the following months:
April, May, & June
The deadline for submitting course descriptions
is the first week in March.
