Repair Session Event
Focusing on monitoring equipment, aspirators, doppler ultrasound, and electrosurgery units.
(Refreshments will be provided)

Why: To test and fix donated medical equipment for distribution to hospitals in the developing world. To learn about the basic functions and common problems about the selected machines. To enhance your troubleshooting knowledge and global awareness.

Who: Sessions are open to all IT majors or U of M students with interest in providing medical technology to underdeveloped regions. Supervisors will be present.

When: Thursday November 15, 2007 @ 6: 00 PM

Where: Shepard Hall 5th floor.
BMES lounge and Student Labs rooms 508 and 546.

 
Packing/Shipping Party:
Check back for date and timings.
Bring styrofoam if you can. If anyone has a car and wants to drive us to the UPS store, email us.
