Room B has a set schedule that they follow daily which allows for many fun and educational activities for the children including fine motor skills (focus on strengthening the muscles needed for writing by cutting, tracing, manipulating small objects, and completing individual shelf work.), gross motor and movement activities, early math concepts (recognizing letters, counting in both Spanish and English an simple addition), early literacy and language development, creative art activities, dramatic play and practical life activities, musical expression and sensory exploration. There is a balance between child-initiated and teacher-directed activities. They focus on allowing children to explore and become independent, as well as developing social skills amongst their peers. They encourage creative thinking and positive interaction while allowing children to develop at their own pace and reach their full potential.
