Hello, my name is Angie Bos and I am a Ph.D. Candidate in the department of Political Science at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. My dissertation, which I expect to defend in summer 2007, examines whether U.S. political parties are gatekeepers to women seeking higher political office.
