Bio

I am on the third year stretch of my Ph.D. program. My research interests are in cardiovascular biomechanics. The research I am currently doing includes the experimental flow studies through an aortic heart valve and the computational deformation characteristics of the valve leaflets. Once it is all said and done, I want to make a significant contribution to the understanding in the structural and the fluid mechanics that governs aortic heart valve motion.
